Jeffry Fullmoon Leonard

My name is Jeffry “Fullmoon” Leonard, a full‑time travel nurse, student, adventure photographer, and long‑distance hiker constantly trying to figure out how far I can push both my body and mind. After hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2021, I reshaped my life to make room for more time in the mountains, using travel nursing to fund and support my adventures. Since then, I’ve completed the Te Araroa in New Zealand and several other major treks around the world. In 2026, I’m heading northbound on the Arizona Trail, juggling university exams, trail miles, and documenting it all along the way.

Between brutal climbs, chafing emergencies, and a reunion with an old trail friend, this was a start I won’t forget.

I Was Halfway Through a Poop When I Got My Trail Name… Now I’m Hiking the Arizona Trail
