See You Tomorrow
I’m See You Tomorrow (SYT), a 30-something hiker who loves hiking just for the thrill of seeing things that most people don’t. I have no problem eating the same things every day and, for me, over-analyzing everything is half the fun (sometimes more). I am new to backpacking but that won’t stop me from taking on an unorthodox hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2026. It’s not quite a yo-yo, but I have aspirations of hiking the entire trail twice in one year. For the rest of the story you’ll just have to start reading my blog!
Posts
Pointy Pursuit
I have a pointy encounter along the trail and put in a monster stint in pursuit of a sunset.
Meeting The Flintstones
I thaw myself out after a bitter cold sunrise on Mount Greylock. I run into a pack of hungry SOBO hikers, they decide to eat burritos instead of me.
Going For Greylock
Massachusetts begins! I waste no time making my way to Mount Greylock, the state high point.
A Second Zero In Rutland, VT
I return to Rutland to lightly abuse the Hannaford grocery store's free WiFi and seating since I need a full day of computer access to work on my blog and watching my favorite sporting events.
Glastenbury Gambol
I scramble up Glastenbury Mountain on a gorgeous Autumn Saturday. I decide against climbing a fire tower that could supposedly collapse if someone were to climb it.
Stratton Shortcut
Its a wet day in Vermont, good for making the leaves pop with color, not so good for keeping my shoes dry.
Calico Season
Its peak leaf-peeping season in Vermont, there are abundant color views at every turn.
Bromley Peak Magic
An eerie mist blankets the trail for much of the day. Unrelated, I encounter a slew of magical anomalies including rock formations, a waving sheep, and a UFO landing. Meanwhile I ascend above the clouds.
A Muddy And Misty March
I need to make up for a late start but Vermont has a surprise waiting for me. Later I find myself somehow in danger of not having water on a day where I can hardly escape it.
Nor’easter And Gnomes
With expectations of a full day of rain, I bravely trim down my hiking plans in a bid to stay dry.
