I'm Joshua Niven. I currently reside in Asheville, NC where I work as a multi-media visual artist. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2012 with a degree in Photography. In 2013 I thru-hiked The Appalachian Trail documenting my entire hike under the production name The Thru Project. I took 15k images which have been curated in to a fine-art coffee table book. My work focuses on nature, the surreal, and the innate connection to the dark and light we experience as human beings.
