Heyya! My name's Kevin, recently earned the nickname "Lord of the Flies" after a trail running incident, and I like rocks and views! I'm stoked to be sharing a bit of my journey with you here on The Trek! I'm a Massachusetts-born, Colorado-living guy who loves getting out there whether solo, with my wife, friends, dogs or any combination thereof. I'm a firm believer that when you're needing an escape, not a destination, there ain't no such thing as a 'wrong trail,' and I do my best to remember to bring my camera along on my hikes. I've been writing my whole life, but this is really my first time telling my own story, or being the character in it, at least. I can't tell ya how much respect I have for the long-distance backpackers and through hikers that make up most of the writers here, and I hope to be one of them some day. For now though, what I'm doing here is a bit different. When Zach and the team at The Trek put out the word they were accepting writers from different corners of the hiking world outside of backpackers and through hikers, I was pumped to apply and share a bit of what I'm trying to do. You'll have to follow along to get the full rundown but, it's got something to do with a few 14ers rolled into one endurance trek, with a timeframe... All my socials and links can be found HERE and I appreciate you following along!Questions? Comments? Collabs? Wanna tell me I'm bad at taking pictures of myself, or anything else ---> [email protected] See ya on the trails! ✌️ -Kevin
