Hi! I'm Amber, but some of my friends call me "Kodak." As a kid, I loved everything about the woods. Hiking, camping, the whole nine. I can't explain it, but it was the only place I felt I could relax, the only place where things felt still. Several years ago, I found myself across the country in the great southwest! I was alone, broke, and bored.. and that's when I reconnected with hiking and camping. What I thought would be a temporary hyper-fixation has all but taken over my life and as it has, evolved into a deep love for backpacking. I am now 31, married, and back in my old home state of New York, always looking for my next adventure!
