Hello fellas, I'm out and about to go for the adventure of a lifetime by attempting a NoBo Thru-Hike of the Appalachian Trail starting in March 2025. I have always wanted to do a multi-week long distance hike eversince my early 20s and now with turning 30 years of age this year I say enough of lame excuses! So far the longest hike I have done was a 5-day "Thru-Hike" of the infamous Wicklow Way in Ireland with tent and rations only but two wonderful friends who were unfortunately forced to quit due to horrible blister attacks on day 2. Besides the heavy effort of course, the simplicity of caring all of life's necessities on your back being able to experience this beautiful world on foot by walking through hundreds of miles of gorgeous nature and meeting interesting people along the way sounds like an opportunity that I definitely would not want to miss out in my life. Stay tuned for blog posts to come where I will try to put my experiences of this adventure into suitable words. So long, happy hikin'!
