Hi, I'm Maureen and I am attempting to hike the West Highland Way in Scotland NOBO in the summer of 2026! I have been hiking most of my life with a pause mostly to raise my family. Now entering a pre-retirement phase of life and reconnecting with my past self. Avid hiker, kayaker and lover of the outdoors! Dog mom to two rambunctious labs. Off trail I am an RN working in the field of home health. The statement that best reflects me is, " It is not that I love man less, but nature more". So, join me as I discover the Highlands of Scotland ,searching for Jamie Fraser. Looking forward to the views, the challenges, the moaning of my hiking bestie, (aka Sugar Sand), and most of all the people we will meet!
