I am a 54 year old trying to reconnect with myself. Quit my job and started thru hiking March 10th with my dog Yankee last year. Made it to mile 586 then fell down a ravine and broke my ankle. Starting again this year from where I stopped and hopefully will make it to Katahdin. I would rather try and fail then never try at all.
