I was a 2015 southbounder on the AT. Due to money concerns I had to stop after hiking 640 miles. I am a Tufts University student and an activist who works to prevent sexual violence. The reason for my thru-hike was essentially to escape that reality for a bit and do something purely for myself. I have stories to share, and maybe a little advice, which can hopefully be of service to all aspiring AT thru-hikers.
