A few months from 60 years old and hot off of getting fired, I've taken the truckload of lemons that life has recently dumped on me and I'm making a great big giant vat of Lemonade. And by lemonade, I mean I'm attempting a thru-hike of the PCT to honour and raise donations and awareness of the plight of my brothers and sisters on the front lines in Ukraine. I'm a former Canadian Infantry Soldier, former Police Sergeant, former Ukraine Combat Soldier, former Legislative Security Commander and current unemployed bum seeking meaning and purpose by way of one step at a time, one sunset at a time, and one donation at a time (tax receipts provided!). I look forward to sharing, among other things, my extreme low-budget equipment hacks, the key to choosing a compatible training partner, how Ai will outright lie to you about the Golden Ticket and (once I find the answer myself) the best way to transition from winter in Canada to a heatwave in California. Donation Links to support Ukraine: 100% of money goes to Ukraine. I am fully unsupported in my PCT hike and I will pay for everything myself. I will also match the first $2000 donated to the charities below with my own money as these links are specific to my PCT Charity Hike. Canadian Donors (tax receipts issued): http://weblink.donorperfect.com/HikeForUkraine International charity based in Ukraine: (USA tax receipts issued here) https://link.u24.gov.ua/r/pd/donate
