Hi, I'm Sam, my trail name is Sia, but pronounced "sigh." I'm a lifelong dirtbag. And, I first started getting out there through bike touring. After realizing sleeping outside was the life for me, I zig-zagged on a bicycle across the US for 7 months, covering 7000 miles. Then, I moved to Colorado on a whim, got into bikepacking, and eventually started backpacking when I realized bikes weren't allowed in wilderness areas. Now I've thru-hiked the Colorado Trail twice and the PCT once. This summer, I'll be on the CDT!
