Hello All: I am Sam, a Maryland native residing on the Eastern Shore of MD. I am attempting a NOBO thru-hike of the AT starting early April. It has been a vision since first setting foot on the AT for my first long weekend hike with one of me outdoor mentors probably some 18 years ago...this vision is now becoming a reality. I hope to disconnect for the most part, but doing this for my very supportive friends and family and the folks that cannot make this journey. I also hope I can give back to The Trek community that have provided so much information and inspiration!
