Hi, I’m Sara “Mosey” Penny. I’m 61, retired, and fortunate enough to spend a lot of time hiking and backpacking. In 2022 I hiked the 1,100 mile Florida Trail, the 500 mile Camino Frances, and 600 miles in Scotland. This totaled around 2,100 miles, so I decided to hike that many miles the next year on the Appalachian Trail. In 2024 I did lots of shorter hikes, and I was able to start doing trail maintenance with my local Florida Trail Association chapter.
This year I plan to rehike part of the Florida Trail.
