Just a Boston girl with a love for the mountains. I've been working in childcare since I was 17 and I feel the need for a career change. Since The Appalachian Trail has been on my 'bucket list' for years, I knew I needed to take advantage of this transition time in my life and hike, or it just wouldn't happen. I'm looking forward to seeing the mountains in the south-east as my only backpacking experience lies in the White Mountains of NH. I know this will be hard, but I'm so ready for the challenge. My plan is a solo NOBO thru-hike in mid-to-late March, and I'm so excited to see where this adventure takes me.
