Hi, I'm Steve. Soon to be retired, soon to be attempting to thru-hike from Georgia to Maine along the Appalachian Trail. While I have enjoyed backpacking and camping for quite a while, this will be the most daunting adventure I have ever attempted. I am equally as anxious and excited about writing for the trek. While I have used the alphabet to communicate in writing my whole life. I have never really considered myself a "writer." I can't wait to learn a great deal through both of these endeavors. I have an awesome wife and two boys that I am extremely proud of. I will be depending on their support.
