Hi I’m Tess and I’m thru-hiking the Long Trail this summer! When I was 14, I started writing a Morse code musical set on the Appalachian Trail. Ever since, I have been drawn to thru-hiking. I am a current theater student at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. On the Long Trail, I will be creating a documentary audio theater piece through the support of the NYU Community Engaged Theater Grant. I hope you decide to follow my journey!
