Backpacker Radio #50: The Long Trail + Chef Corso

Today, we dissect my recent thru-hike on the Long Trail. We run the gamut on this little bruiser of a trail, including its terrain, the towns, how it changes after splitting with the AT, resupply strategies, my gear (and what I’d change if I were to do it again), favorite shelters, and more. We also go into the results of a survey we ran of Long Trail finishers that highlights their favorite towns, restaurants, shelters, and gear used. Last but not least, Chaunce and I chat with Chef Corso of Monty Boca. Chef Corso is a classically trained chef who gives us some pointers on improving our piss-poor backcountry meal game—without using a dehydrator.
