Bear-a-noid

So we are ahead of schedule and already we have seen a waterfall, climbed some mountains, enjoyed beautiful weather, and stayed in our first town. A lot has happened in just four days.

Most exciting of all, we saw a bear!

Well not a real one….

There haven’t been any around yet but we have both been losing sleep due to bearanoia (well mostly just Liz).

Other than one almost sleepless night. The last four days are the ones we should look back on when things are really hard. The terrain hasn’t been easy the whole time but our excitement, and gratitude for the trip hasn’t lessened one bit. (Thanks mom/Becki for getting us here).

We are pretty sleepy so we are going to make it a short post. Here are some pictures of our days so far and a poem to describe our little bear friend.

Oh Pierre the French born pandacorn with a pink beret and a seashell horn.
The next few days should be rainy so we will see if our next post is as cheerful.
