What do ladies daily wear on Colorado Trail?

Packing for CT,  careful consideration of clothing prevailed: I HAD to carry light!  Double or triple use for clothing even better!

Dilemma: variable cold, hot, wet, windy, thunder -ry, snowy, frosty, harsh sun.

So here’s what I wore:  No shorts. Silk underwear, t – shirt, possum hide gloves with a diaper pin in cuff ; convertible long sleeved synthetic shirt, Alpaca hoodie and beanie, wool socks. Neck buff. Fjallraven brand men’s cotton pants (yeah mens, REI only had MENS. Womens “hiking” clothing lack decent pockets–very sexist!)

Carbon-fiber poles, pack, black under visor, hat, SPF lip, face meds; Carried water-proof jacket in pack.
