Pox & Puss Episode #56 – Anish & Carrot Quinn

After weeks filled with a hurricane, a death in the family, a totaled car, and much much more….we’re finally BACK!
We’re making up for our absence by talking with two Bad Ass Hikers:
The fastest person on the Appalachian Trail (and Pacific Crest Trail) Heather “Anish” Anderson talks with us about what it’s like to prepare for a record setting thru-hike, what happens when you realize those WEREN’T squirrels above your tent, and much more.

Also, it turns out that when Anish isn’t out breaking Fastest Known Time records, she is a sleepy penguin.

Pox talks with author Carrot Quinn about her awesome book “Thru Hiking Will Break Your Heart”.
We like the book so much, we decided to make it our first member of “The Pox & Puss Book Club”….or at least we think that was the plan.
Carrot Quinn’s Book can be found on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Thru-Hiking-Will-Break-Your-Heart-ebook/dp/B00W4RICAM

Surprisingly, Pox tells a story that has nothing to do with the Appalachian Trail. How strange.

My thoughts exactly. I know there is very little going on with the AT right now but come on guys!! I am not a thru hiker myself so I have to live vicariously through the podcast.
