Filled with everything Good

2 more wake ups and I’ll be on my way! Wow 8 months ago the decision to thru hike the Appalachian Trail was just a thought of achieving a life long dream! Now it’s so close to becoming reality! The days and weeks and months have literally flown by. They have been filled with the things of life! Filled with the things of God and family and friends! Filled with beautiful monuments with my children and grandchildren. Filled with moments of spiritual blessing as our worship band lead our church to sing praises to our Risen Lord! Filled with happy great times of our band, “Joyful Noise” practicing, playing, singing, laughing and genuinely enjoying each other’s company. Filled with making memories with my immediate and extended family. Holidays and Birthdays and just days enjoying each other. I am truly blessed! Last Sunday morning as our worship band was exiting the stage prior to the message, our pastor stopped me and said wait a moment here! He then told our church about my upcoming adventure. Asked that they pray for me as I go along and then he and they prayed for me. Filled me with love and hope and excitement! Thank you Father for a great church family. Thank you also for such a wonderful opportunity! Please continue to pray for me as I go along my journey, that I will be filled with power from on high and that I would be able ready and willing to keep each and every divine appointment our Father has for me on the trail. My heart is filled with love!

I know now that my Trail will be happy! I have a start date but I don’t have a finish date. I will finish when’s I’m supposed to finish . Only after I’ve seen all that I must see, done all that I must do, meet all that I must meet and pass along the love and joy that fills me!
