Go Where the Trail Leads You with Bell’s Brewery and the Partnership for the National Trails System

Over the next few weeks, you might find posters and stands in grocery stores inviting you to Go Where the Trail Leads You. The signs are part of a co-branded awareness-raising campaign for trails that aims to get more people to learn about, visit, volunteer with, and support trails near them.

For the second year in a row, Bell’s Brewery and the Partnership for the National Trails System (PNTS) are teaming up to encourage people to enjoy trails across America and, in turn, raise money to protect them.

It’s easy to participate. Pledge an hour to trails at bellsbeer.com/trails between September 1st and October 31st, and Bell’s will donate $5 to PNTS. Hours can be pledged for any trail activity–literally, any! That means you can pledge time for hiking, building, biking, riding, volunteering, learning about trails, and just about anything you can imagine. If you’re supporting trails or spending time on trails, you can make a pledge.

The campaign is intended to encourage more people to spend time on trails with the added benefit of supporting PNTS, a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, preserving, and promoting trails. That means when you pledge time to your favorite trail, you’ll be supporting trails nationwide.

“Sustainability practices and appreciation for the great outdoors has long been a hallmark of Bell’s Brewery, so supporting our colleagues at PNTS is a natural partnership,” said Executive Vice President Carrie Yunker. “There are so many trails that exist around us, many of which community members haven’t discovered yet. Enjoying these trails is one of the easiest ways to appreciate nature’s beauty, and it’s crucial that we work to protect them now, and for generations to come.”

Last year, 3,526 hours were pledged to trails. With your help, we can meet and surpass that number this year. So, grab your favorite trail beverage and head to bellsbeer.com/trails to make your pledge today. Share your pledge online using #GoWhereTheTrailLeadsYou to help raise awareness for trails across the nation!
