Wisconsin, Here We Come! Backpacker Radio’s 2nd Annual Road Trip Takes on the Ice Age Trail

Backpacker Radio, The Trek’s flagship podcast, is bound for the Badger State this October!  In partnership with Travel Wisconsin & the Ice Age Trail Alliance and their Mammoth Hike Challenge, Chaunce, Elise, and yours truly will be cruising to Wisconsin to trek sections of the Ice Age Trail while enjoying local breweries, mainlining fried cheese and fish, and meeting with fellow backpacking enthusiasts along the way.

The Cinnamon Connection will be hitting many of the Ice Age Trail’s highlights including, Chippewa Moraine, Ringle, Kettle Moraine, and Devil’s Lake State Park.

But- what we’re most excited about is the opportunity to mingle with our Midwest trail lovers.  On Wednesday, October 13th and Friday, October 15th, we’ll be hosting events open to the public which will include a Hiker Meetup, a boatload of free swag, beer, a LIVE podcast (featuring a surprise guest), beer, Chaunce’s famed carnival barking, and beer.

If you’re interested in attending either or both of these events, we strongly encourage you to register to guarantee your entry.  Both events are 100% FREE, but have limited capacity.
