Hi! My names Risa. I'm an Israeli-American who always has her feet on one side of the globe and her heart on the other. I am an educator, a former combat soldier and a world traveler (trying to reach 30 countries by 30!). This May, I will be hiking over 2,000 miles on the AT with my dogs Kimbo and Sadie. My husband's still not sure when he agreed to this hike but promises to visit us on the trail with beer and dog treats! My first trail name was 'Dill'- think it will stick?
