Winter conditions in the smokies yesterday. A solid 14 inches where we were at. The trees all bent down due to the weight, as there was ice build up as well. We crushed 15 miles, the toughest and slowest I’ve hiked yet, and ended up sleeping in a women’s restroom at Fontana dam.
