@bryanconley takes a break from the hike to celebrate America Day.

Day 93 on the Appalachian Trail It’s been kind of a bummer being off trail for the last few days waiting for a mail drop. However, because it was Fourth of July we had some activities to entertain us. The highlight being the fireworks show. It was my first time getting to photograph fireworks and I was pretty stoked that I got at least a few got shots out of it. It was a fun learning experience and I’m very glad I googled some advice first. ? = Sony A6000

As can @thebobbyblaine attest, you never know who you’re going to meet on your AT adventure.

This is Farmer Dan, he let me rest up for a bit at his place. He loves to rip his Suzuki around his farm in flip flops while shooting shit with his sawed off shot gun. He’s a good old boy from Virginia. Ironically enough he lived in Austin for 6 years. He smokes joints all day, whistles a lot, and dreams of thru hiking the AT.
