My Life in 60 Liters

If you’re anything like me, a Virgo, INFJ, and Type 9, then lists and numbers and charts make you feel warm and cozy, like sitting by the fire.  Numbers are comfortable.  They’re solid.  Most of all, they’re honest.

I’ve spent so much time the past several months researching gear for my thru-hike of the Colorado Trail (CT).  I’ve been listening to the biggest names on YouTube and hours of Backpacker Radio; I’ve learned a lot and racked up what should be a decent REI dividend.  Now that Denver is under a blanket of snow with no signs of summer days, it’s time for me to take a step back and breathe and leave the spreadsheets alone.

My NEMO on i’s maiden voyage in Bishop, California.

    Hey Taryn,
I’m also planning on thru-hiking the Colorado Trail in 2020. I’m a high school teacher, in Florida, and have to wait until school lets out. I will be starting in Denver around June 23-25, 2020.
Maybe I’ll run into you on the trail. Good luck.
    My trail name is Frosty.
