Lost then…..

Well, coulda been worse….much worse….

To say: “I’m lost” carries some hubris. We are always somewhere. Then, I remembered a map-reading skill, long forgotten: Triangulation!

In daylight, we can take take 3 bearings and draw all on our map to  find EXACTLY where we are, not that it really matters. Helpful if you fall in a hole, have your cell, and call for help; at least you can convey where they will find your corpse.  Helpful, as we humans really want to know where we are.

I think the trick is not going into full panic mode or staying away from caffeine. Both difficult.

Ended up on a paved road  (!) and a small mountain town. Hooray!! Feel like running if I were not so stiff….
