Contestants were asked to create a 90-second video explaining why they should be chosen as this year’s Badger Sponsorship victor. Winners would be determined by a combination of reader vote and our expert panel- a 50/50 valuation from each category.
We received northward of 50 very quality entries, which we painstakingly narrowed down to just 12. I want to pass along a sincere congratulations to ALL who entered this year’s contest. Standing in front of a camera and asking Internet strangers to listen to your story takes bravado. This courage will most definitely translate to triumph on the trail.

Yay! Congrats to everyone 🙂 Next year could the winners have a little photo next to their names? I have a hard time remembering who was who! Great job!
I’m very frustrated with this. I tried voting multiple times for Madison and my votes were not going through! I heard she ended the voting period in fourth place and I don’t get why she got knocked down to 7-12! Thank you so much for supporting these hikers on their journeys, but I am frustrated with how this was conducted!
