Note from Yankee

What the heck?!!!!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Yankee and my mom is Nadine, now known as Maple Leaf. My mom has been acting funny lately. She has been taking me out in the woods which I love. I get to sniff all sorts of stuff and pee everywhere. Sometimes I get to just walk but other times she puts this thing on my back which I don’t really like. I can’t run around like I usually do when I have it on.

A few months ago I got to sleep in this grey thing where I could still see outside but I could not get out. I had to walk a whole lot on a path. I kept trying to go back the way we came but she would not let me. Finally we made it home, found my bed and slept forever.

As time went by that back parasite (that’s what I call this red pack) got heavier and heavier. Oh well, I still got to walk in the woods which I love and my mom is always right there with me.

I think something is going on because my mom has been giving me different foods, putting that food in boxes. There are a whole lot of boxes all over the house, even on my bed!

I think my mom has gone crazy since now we are walking on a trail and I don’t get to go home. She also has a big parasite on her back. I get petted a lot out here by a whole bunch of people which is great! I always knew she was crazy since she named me Yankee and we live in the south.

Well bye for now and I will write again (if my mom lets me)
