One Last Zero
After yesterday’s nonstop zero, today’s main goal was to rest. After another slow morning, we went to Sea Wolf Bakery. The assortment of pastries we got absolutely lived up to the hype.
We stopped by Drom’s friend’s house to pick up our bag of goodies we sent back from Trail Days. I was excited to have my Bedrock clogs to wear around town. Our final errand to run was for our resupply, and more dinner items and snacks to enjoy from none other than Trader Joe’s. This time I got a fall themed butternut squash and turkey burrito and fall harvest salad.
Once we got back to Drom’s, I needed a nap. The afternoon flew by and when I woke up it was time for dinner, and tackling the dreaded organization of my pack. This time, I went through everything I had and only packed the essentials. I don’t think I’ll be needing my bug spray or mosquito net for these last few days. Bags packed and ready to go, we spent the rest of the night watching Twilight. Drom hasn’t seen it, so I needed to educate him with this cinematic masterpiece. We only got through half before I nearly fell asleep. We’ll get to the baseball scene when we get back. Tomorrow’s going to be an early morning.
