PCT Gear List II
Not a whole lot has changed from the first gear list. I wanted to get an Arc pack with the heavier duty 4.2 oz/sqyd Gridstop fabric. Unfortunately, you can only get an Arc Haul in that fabric and ZPacks no longer offers custom orders. The 62L Arc Haul is just way too big and so I’m right back where I started with the Arc Blast. Even at 55L, the Blast is still on the big side but I will make do. I’ve added to and regrouped my Sierra gear options. You can find more about my gear lists and adventures on my blog Journey Return.

Curious why you’re planning on swapping out the solplex? Something you don’t like about it for the mountains? Only asking because I’m considering buying one.
Hi John! I’m switching out the Solplex because I really don’t have the patience for this tent. I’m starting with it because it is so light and I don’t plan on having to set it up very often. I wrote a review of it here. Thanks for the question!
Thanks! Enjoy the PCT!
