Pratice White Blazes with Coco 3/18/2023

So yesterday was beautiful weather and although I had been out with friends night before I forced myself up and on the road with Coco to the Lehigh Valley AT in Slatington, PA. I figured April 7 will come quick and I need to work on my game. i took my bag, tent, stove, food, and littles to carry on this day hike to test weight, too heavy! Not UL pack and was like 35 pounds with water. So right there I know I have to work on that for April. I also learned the ridge is windy and need wind coverage for that, the woods are much warmer. Coco did great and she’s ready for our adventure. So it was learning curve lovely stroll on the AT yesterday and now I have more work to do before April 7.
