The Real Hiking Viking’s Ultralight PCT Gear List
In case you missed it, the dynamic duo of The Real Hiking Viking and Zach Davis (our Editor-in-Chief) are hitting the PCT SOBO…. in T-minus one day. We coerced Viking into telling us what he’s packing for his third attempt at the PCT, and he agreeably complied. His gear is ultralight, comfortable, and minimal. This guy’s got it dialed.

Epic! These two are a great combo.
Having passed the Viking on the Southern AT as he finished his hike in ’16, I got a quick pic and exchanged a few words. What an amazing man and gentleman, and so gracious.
I’m so excited to follow their hike! Thanks for this notice and God speed to both of these men.
Were you able to carry a bear can in that Kumo?
