Hi! Mountain Mama, here, so named by my daughter and thru hiker inspiration. Took off on the Colorado Trail after Covid, (not even sure I would make it) to celebrate 5 years in remission from cancer! Now I have the bug....and took a recommendation from one of my CT buddies and took on the John Muir Trail the summer after the highest snowfall AND when the hurricane hit. Some folks call me crazy...... My newest idea is to hike the CDT state by state, (inspired by another CT friend !) while also finishing the Benton MacKaye Trail bit by bit. I'm slow, but I just keep walking.......
