Hellooo! My name is Teressa. I’m taking a break from the rigors of science education and research to hike the Appalachian Trail – talk about a change in scenery! Beyond science, I love nature, animals, art, music, and travelling. I recently graduated from college with two degrees, neuroscience, and zoology – a challenge indeed, but hiking the AT will be a challenge unlike any other. Scientists are supposed to be curious…is ditching society to hike in the woods for months too curious, or just curious enough? I think the latter =)
