Sometimes

Sometimes

Sometimes you throw your pack on your back and it settles in and feels just plain good; other times it nearly pulls you over and you swear one of your ‘friends ” has put some rocks in there.

Sometimes the trail feels like you are walking on a bed of feathers; other times (most of the times) it feels like the rocks are going to through the bottom of your soles

Sometimes you put your shoes on and they Cradle your feet and feel as light as a feather; other times they rub , create blisters and hurt to the point of wanting to quit.

  1. Sometimes the trail let’s you walk on a bed of pine needles, other times it is strewn with rocks that move with every step

Sometimes it feels like a walk in the park; other times it feels like you should worry that God will strike you down for trying to climb to Heaven

Sometimes I have too much time to think; other times I just stink.
