Stories From The Trail Ep. 14: Halfway There with Turnaround
Back in Episode 9 we met Chris, who was beginning his Appalachian Trail thru-hike the following day. This is Chris’s first long trail, and he’s having the time of his life. He’s encountered every type of weather, met incredible people, and has experienced (and given) trail magic. And now he has a trail name.
Having hiked roughly 1,000 miles, Chris (aka Turnaround) called the show from Harpers Ferry to give us an update on how he’s doing. Join Voldemort and Green Giant for updates from the trail, hostel recommendations, nutrition, water talk, and, of course, bear stories.
