As a firm believer in balancing motherhood with my passions, I’ve embraced the idea that having a child doesn’t mean giving up what I love. I choose to share my deepest passions and achievements with my son. While my goals have shifted since becoming a mother, I haven’t let them go. There is an unwavering desire to teach our son the importance of being resilient and pursuing what truly ignites his spirit, leading by example.

Not so recently, I made the decision to hike The Wonderland Trail. After scoring an early access permit, as well as taking into account, careful consideration of factors like if it would be fair to our son, the time of year, the trail’s location, total distance, difficulty, and access to resupply points. This journey isn’t just about physical challenges—it’s about mental and emotional regulation, risk management, and sharing experiences with loved ones and anyone curious about my successes, setbacks, and the adjustments made along the way. 

I’m thrilled to embark on this adventure, knowing it will not only reinvigorate my sense of self, but also inspire others who are navigating their own paths through parenthood and passion pursuit.
