ANNOUNCING: The First Annual Thru-Hiker Prom at Trail Days
PromProm (short for promenade) is a semi-formal (black tie) dance or gathering of high school students…or thru-hikers.
That’s right, prom. At Trail Days. It’s happening.
Our friends at The Pox & Puss Podcast are hosting the first annual Thru-Hiker Prom at Trail Days. The fun will go down at The Damascus Brewery on Saturday, May 17th from 9pm to Midnight. “I just felt like I would’ve loved to have gone dancing/partying while I was on trail,” says Pox & Pus co-host Pox Holiday. “I talked about this being a goal of mine on our podcast over a year ago, now we’re doing it.”
Below is a bit more information on the event, needlessly presented in a Q&A format.
Question: Will there be a King and Queen of Thru-Hiker Prom?
Question: Will there be a prize for best wardrobe?
Question: What is the cost?
Question: I am a hiker and I have song suggestions, who should I bother?
We will continue to update this page as more details unfold- so be sure to bookmark and share the word with fellow Hiker Trash friends!
