Hi everyone, my name is Billy smith and I’m doing the PCT in 2025 and I'm super excited to share my journey! I’m 24 and live in Temecula CA. My story starts off a little rough. I spent 4 years in foster care and at the same time in and out of the hospital undergoing heart surgeries. I was adopted when I was 4 and at was introduced to the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, and camping were my summers for years until I got old enough to do it myself more often. I’ve made the pct a life goal of mine because having 8 open heart surgeries and a pacemaker will make you appreciate life, the outdoors and what this world has to offer a little more.
