What will 2021 bring?

I’m still hoping to finish the Appalachian Trail. Of course, 2020 was a wash. Covid, knee injury, and knee replacement meant no time on the Appalachian Trail, so I’m testing out to see whether I can still use this blog page.

Boomer is now 14 and although he’s fairly healthy, he does have some heart problems. So he won’t be doing any long-distance backpacking with me.

I do have a hiking buddy lined up, so if everything goes as planned, we may finish off New Hampshire and Maine this summer.

    Eva,
Seems to work, at least here I sit reading your blog.
I’m trying to figure out how to handle mine now that I’ve decided to postpone to 2022.
    Blessings on your way.

Glad to see you’ll be out on the trail. Sorry that Boomer can’t make it.

    Hello Eva,

How exciting to hopefully have a chance to finish.

I too am in a terrible situation. My brain is dying to do an AT thru-hike, but my knees are a bit of a gamble. I’d like to ask you about your knee issues, if that would be cool with you.

    Love your Boomer!!!

Give him a kiss for me!

    Be well,

    Tim
