Media Sales Manager

We are looking for someone who’s a self-starter, has connections in the outdoor industry, and a successful media sales background to join The Trek’s team.

THE JOB

We are looking for a determined, charismatic marketing professional who’s seeking work that rewards hard work and personal production. The Media Sales Manager position will oversee all media sales, including banner ads, sponsored content, podcast, and video advertising.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have own computer and Internet access. This is a remote position, unless the candidate lives near Golden, CO, in which case they have the option to work from The Trek HQ (pandemic pending).

Additionally, the ideal candidate has:

• At least 2-4 years in media sales or other relevant professional experience.
• A love for backpacking / hiking (not required, but a bonus).
• Has worked in the outdoor industry previously (not required, but a bonus).

The website is read by more than a quarter million people per month, with more than 400,000 social media followers, is home to the #1 hiking podcast and serves, as the writing and blogging home to more than 300 backpackers.
