Hello World! My name is Beth Matteson aka BraveHeart. I caught the hiking bug after my first long distance hike this past summer which preluded to my decision of hikin' on thru next year! I'm a Navy Veteran, motorcyclist, music-snob, adventure-junkie, tattooed, happy person with a mild Wisconsin accent. I'll be on that white blaze wonderfulness immediately after I graduate from Old Dominion University in the beginning of May 2015. Thru-hiking pretty much consumes all of my thoughts which is starting to become a problem.
