Hannah Charlson

Hannah is 20 years old, attends Vassar College, and despite the number of times she spent complaining on childhood family hikes, she really does love hiking. She can usually be found staring at wild mushrooms, dancing in thunderstorms, or tackling people in a rugby game. In Spring 2021, she took the semester off from school, was dropped off at the southern terminus of the AT, and hiked back home to Pennsylvania. She loved her experience, but the one thing she would have changed about her hike is that she wishes she could have kept feeling in her big toes. You never know a good thing until it’s gone.
