I'm Katie aka Salty. My love of long trails began on the AT in 2009, and grew deeper while thru-hiking the PCT in 2014 and the CT in 2016. I grew up in Ohio and recently relocated from Asheville, NC to the front range of Colorado. As a nutrition and health coach, I have the satisfying job of helping outdoor enthusiasts create strength, resilience, and endurance for the long haul. When I'm not out playing in the mountains, I can be found digging in the garden, making a mess in the kitchen, or with my nose in a book.
