Until I am given a trail name you can call me Kristin. I am 31 and by no means am I an expert hiker but I am more passionate about hiking than just about anything else in my life. I am a Maryland Native but moved to Nashville, Tennessee in July, 2013 for some change. My time off the trail is spent Bartending or traveling across the country on tour with my husband Dylan while he plays music. I lost my dad, Lou, unexpectedly in January 2016, and he is the reason I'm hiking the trail. he introduced the trail to me and the concept of thru-hiking it. When he died he took a big part of me with him. After a year of heartache and grieving, I'm looking to fill that hole with all the beauty of nature and the beautiful people I meet on the trail.
