Natasha Gravel

Hi friends! I'm Natasha (or Nat, or Natrasha, or [insert future trail name here]), and this year I'm attempting to hike the PCT northbound, entirely on local permits - we'll get to why later! I was born in Oregon, but grew up mostly in South Carolina; it's the place I lived the longest and the one that feels the most like home. I've spent the last 8 years volunteering and working in national service, most recently as a Unit Leader with AmeriCorps NCCC. In 2024, I decided to leave my job, give away most of my belongings, and take some adventures as I say goodbye to my 20's. Last fall, my mom and I hiked 100km of El Camino de Santiago in Spain, which is as close to thru-hiking as I've ever been. After creating an impossibly busy schedule for myself and acquiring some fun new injuries, I'm feeling very ill-prepared...but that's never stopped me before, so LET'S GOOOO! Thanks for reading, I'm super stoked to share this journey with you!
