Hi, I'm Page. I'm a Michigan-based rock climbing, backpacking, a cappella enthusiast. In 2019, I hiked my way through eight national parks in five weeks, and I'm planning my first thru-hike for Appalachian Trail 2021 (rest in peace thru-hikes 2020). When I'm not outside, I'm a camping associate at REI. When I'm not there, I'm snuggling my guinea pig, Greta.
Trail closures aren’t anything new in the hiking community. Obstacles like high levels of snow or fallen trees struck down by storms regularly take hikers off trail. Long time trail angel Donna 'L-Rod" Saufley shares her thoughts on the affect of COVID-19 on 2020 thru-hikes.
