Body of Hiker Reported Missing Found Near Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania
The body of a missing hiker was found in Northampton County, PA on Sunday, authorities say.
Authorities identified the hiker, found near the Appalachian Trail, as Raghu Kodali resident of Readington Township, New Jersey. Kodali went missing on Saturday, triggering a search that lasted for hours. His body was discovered near the Blue Mountain Ski Area on Sunday afternoon.
The cause and manner of death remain under investigation by the Northampton County Coroner. Search efforts involved the Lehigh Township Fire Department, Wolfpack Search and Recovery, and state police.
